Chartogne-Taillet Champagne Cuvée Sainte Anne N.V

This was '17 base, disgorged June 2020. It had an expressive nose of tart Tatin, brioche, preserved lemon and aniseed. It is full and creamy in the mouth, with a vinous grapiness and plenty of spice. The finish has a puff of chalk and is bright and energetic. JH 2020
