The Merlot and Malbec for this came off the Yarra Yering vineyards. The Cabernet is off a block that has some 50+ year-old vines. It has a lovely nose of violets, cassis, blood plum, mint and tobacco. The palate is full and elegant. There's a core of briary fruits and nice earthy nuance. It has crisp acidity and a persistent finish. It will age for a decade or more but is delicious right now. JH 2025
