2017 Ronco del Gnemiz Chardonnay 'Basso'

This is grown on the Rosazzo Hill vineyard in Italy’s Friuli region. It spends time in one year old French Barrique and is a wine of good purity and drive. There’s fresh white peach fruit along with some spearmint and slate. It has great shape and builds through the palate, finishing with brightness and clarity of fruit flavours. JH 2019
