2017 Nervi Conterno Gattinara

No artifice, just pure Nebbiolo fruit. There's an engaging perfume of rose petals, red fruits, mint and ginger. It has an underlying earthiness and some licorice with air. There's an intense core and sinewy tannins. It fans out on the finish and is very persistent. JH 2020
