It was just a tad flat upon opening, showing a shot of espresso and not a lot else. After a 7 hour 'Audouze' it was marvelous. The nose was a strawberry patch, all sweet red fruit, black earth and plant matter. The palate was silky and ethereal. Flavours caress the gums, it builds and fans out on the finish. There's an engaging inner mouth perfume of fruit and earth once the wine is swallowed. JH 2018
