1969 Thorin Chambert, Aloxe Corton

There’s an engaging nose of decaying leaves, earth, Asian spice and ripe berries. It is a calm and even wine, with a sweet vinous core and plenty of savoury nuance. It has great volume and a velvety texture and flavours are expansive and linger for a long time. One of the very best aged Burgs we have had this year. JH 2019
